I Made Rock ‘N’ Roll honors Black artistry and authorship in the rock genre at its festival on May 18th in Indianapolis, in media, and programming. This Listening Session will happen in a repurposed, Broad Ripple, speakeasy setting. Expect funky vibes, bar service, and a cool auditory experience, along with conversations about the rich legacy and continued influence of Black artistry in rock music. Guests are invited to socialize and will hear curated selections of rock music created and inspired by Black musicians, along with stories from curators about how these songs have influenced their lives—and culture in general.

Doors open at 7:00 PM at 6281 N. College Ave – the former Crackers Comedy Club space next door to The Vogue.
