Bio: Anything is possible! This is the mission statement of the multi-genre sextet, and it is embedded in the heart of every song they write. From their humble beginnings as an open mic house cover band, Audiodacity has grown into a dynamic and musically-diverse ensemble with dozens of original songs, each imbued with the spirit of their camaraderie. Every member has varying levels of musical backgrounds, preferences, and influences; but these differences seamlessly combine into a sound that is truly original. Funk, rock, hip-hop, latin, jazz, reggae, R&B, blues and even dubstep – no genre is left unexplored.

Audiodacity’s unique style and their reputation for delivering unforgettable live performances have earned them a spot among Indiana’s top bands. They have won several city-wide and state-wide battle of the bands competitions, performed all throughout the Midwest, and have even shared the stage with nationally touring acts such as Ludacris, GROUPLOVE, and Here Come The Mummies.

Philia

Bio: As Philia, producer & Ableton Certified Trainer Dan Giffin blends funky bass rhythms with sweeping melodies that challenge the status quo of electronic music with live instruments. Formerly a jazz drummer from a small town in Ohio, Dan switched creative lanes following life-altering mentorships under some of the world’s best music trainers/ engineers in New York City & Los Angeles. Dan adopted new influences and grew his skills creating jazzy, bass-infused dance music.

Philia released the first EP – Miracles Happen All The Time in 2018, after an incredible life experience and random opportunity to perform at Electric Forest Music Festival for thousands of people. One year later, Dan recruited new friends in the local Indianapolis jazz community and formed the Philia Live Band, adding heavy hitting saxophone, keys, bass, drums and DJing.

The word Philia is ancient Greek for “brotherly love” or “intimate friendship”.
