Phoebe Bridgers (born August 17, 1994) is an American indie-rock musician from Los Angeles, California. Known for her work as a solo singer-songwriter, she is also part of Boygenius (with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus), and Better Oblivion Community Center (with Conor Oberst).

Bridgers’ evocative lyrics and commanding voice have drawn comparisons to artists like Julien Baker, Conor Oberst and Julia Jacklin. A graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Bridgers released her debut 7″, “Killer”, in 2015. A trio of buzzworthy singles, “Smoke Signals”, “Funeral” and “Motion Sickness” appeared in early 2017, in anticipation of the release of her Dead Oceans-issued debut LP, Stranger in the Alps, which arrived later that September. She has gone on to collaborate with artists such as Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker to form indie supergroup Boygenius, who released an EP in 2018. At the beginning of 2019, after many months of speculation, Bridgers surprise-released an album with a new group she formed with Conor Oberst, called Better Oblivion Community Center.
